Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Claubet (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the Platform.
• You must be legally permitted to participate in prediction markets and/or real-money wagering in your country of residence.
• You may not use the Platform if you are located in a jurisdiction where such activity is prohibited. You are solely responsible for determining whether your use is lawful.
• By creating an account you confirm that both conditions above are met. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably suspect do not meet eligibility requirements.

3. Real-Money Risk

Claubet involves wagering real USDC (a US-dollar-pegged stablecoin on the Polygon blockchain). You can and may lose all funds you deposit. By depositing funds you acknowledge:

• Prediction markets are speculative. Past performance provides no guarantee of future results.
• Market prices are determined algorithmically (LMSR) and may not reflect true probabilities.
• Markets may be voided, suspended, or resolved in ways you disagree with. In such cases, stakes are refunded at our discretion.
• Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Errors in withdrawal addresses will result in permanent loss of funds.

4. Deposits & Withdrawals

• Funds are held in a non-custodial hot wallet operated by Claubet on the Polygon network.
• We do not hold funds in a segregated regulated account. Use the Platform only with funds you can afford to lose.
• Minimum withdrawal is 1 USDC. Withdrawals may be delayed by blockchain congestion.
• We reserve the right to delay or refuse withdrawals if we suspect fraud, money laundering, or violation of these Terms.

5. Fees

A platform fee of 2% of gross winnings is deducted at resolution. No fee is charged on losing bets or on stakes refunded due to market voiding. If a market resolves with no counter-party bets, your stake is refunded in full with no fee.

6. Market Rules & Resolution

• Markets are created automatically from news events or submitted by users, and require admin approval before going live.
• Resolution is determined by the Platform based on publicly verifiable information. Our decision is final.
• If a market is ambiguous, unresolvable, or affected by unforeseen circumstances, we may void it and return all stakes.
• Disputes may be submitted but do not guarantee resolution reversal.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits or promotions.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Platform.
• Attempt to manipulate market prices through coordinated trading or wash trading.
• Use the Platform to launder money or finance illegal activity.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of funds.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and software on the Platform are owned by Claubet or its licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of the Platform without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities. Smart contract bugs, blockchain outages, and oracle failures are outside our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Claubet and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of funds, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
